I have spent a great deal of my life taking care of others - first my children, then my mother in law, then my husband and finally my mother. My children are all grown and launched, and doing fine, thank you very much. The mothers and my husband have all died and are the angels on my shoulder as I begin a new chapter in my life.
This is my traveling partner, my sweet doggie daughter, Sierra. She is a rescue pup and has been my companion for the past three years. She is about 5 years old and is the funnest and funniest little girl ever.
We are about to pack up our Prius - the Little Red P - and hit the road for new adventures and to escape the long Minnesota winter. We are headed for New Mexico where I have rented a little Casita in a village just north of Albuquerque; this will be our home base for the next few months while we explore the Southwest. We have a sketchy idea of where we are headed but not too, too much as it wouldn't be an adventure if every detail were already outlined in ink.
